The Mountain Fountain is a funky, sweet little country store at the crossroads of Boulder, Longmont and Lyons, featuring an eclectic mix of regionally sourced food and gift items.  We offer a gluten free bakery, a coffee bar, a deli with sandwiches made-to-order (including a separate Gluten Free station), a wide variety of bottled drinks;  and a butcher shop with locally pastured meats. We support our local Hygiene farms and ranches, as well as many Colorado and regional food producers, makers and artisans and buy organic and regenerative as much as we can.

We are located in the original 1945 Clark Food Store building in the center of Hygiene, Colorado. We are a community hub for our Longmont, Lyons and Boulder neighbors, local farmers, ranchers, cyclists and tourists on their way to Estes Park.

We make a variety of gluten free baked goods from Brownies to Pot Pies, from Lasagnas to Soups and Salads and everything in between. We source organic and local ingredients for all of our house-made products and we frequent our local organic farms and ranches, finding the best produce and meat for our products and shelves. All the coffee we serve in our coffee bar is organic and sustainably sourced by local roasters from our community.

Our pies and quiches are some of the most delicious you have ever eaten, and we truly do make each one with love. We try to infuse everything we do here with love because we really believe that it is the foundation of everything in life. Our community is so important to us, and we view each customer as a new addition to the supportive, caring community we have built, through and because of our amazing staff, who are the very heart of this little operation.
